Well I busted out the cf and I think Im gonna start with the rear door panels this weekend. I just picked up some clear laminating resign cuz I have the itch. After they are done and trimmed up I will take some pics. Then I am gonna spray a red candy over it and take pics of that. I know u all wont like the red so this is why Im gonna take pics b4 the red. So you can see what it will look like in just the standards black weave. Should take me a week to complete since I will be working it in between jobs. I will post again with pics this weekend. If any1 wants to come up this weekend just let me know. Most likely on Saturday cuz Sunday we will have the Toys for Tots.
^ ty Im just gonna do an overlay. This way I can retain all the factory mounts and brackets and if any of you guys want it done it will be a lot cheaper. Lets face it, it will look awesome fit perfect and be an awesome upgrade. Im gonna see if I can keep it to like $80-$100 each door panel. The other way would have to be like $200-$250 each door panel and for what. They are not gonna be all that much lighter to make a difference.
I was always curious. How does cf look like? I mean i know its got the checker pattern but is that the whole material or is that just a layer pasted onto something? Because what i dont understand is if its the whole material than how is the checker pattern kept so perfect if your going to be forming the shapes? I am sorry for this ridiculous question but im just clueless how cf looks like in its unready form.
