So I was talking to my friend today about debadging and he told me their might be a hole behind the Mitsu symbol. I just want to know if I can simply use fishing line to get off the badges and goo gone to get rid of the glue or is there a hole that I'll need to bondo and touch up?

Don't you still have your Mitsubishi symbol on your car? The 3 diamonds on the back?

There's no hole and after removing the badges you can use car wax and some elbow grease to get rid of any glue left on the car. :drunken: :drunken:

I also saw many videos on youtube and lots of them used dental floss and kept breaking so i used line from a weed whacker worked great.

That's a good idea but aren't those pretty thick?

Oh and what do you guys think about my idea of just leaving "Lancer"? Mitsubishi is taken off for sure and the diamonds just seem like their floating in the middle of the hood.

Haha yeah I'm sure that made a difference. I'll have to wait a while for it to get that hot. It's maxing out at about 90 right now here in Ohio. Do you have any pictures of your trunk?

When I took off all of my badges, except LANCE, I just used dental floss. Like chelino said, it kept breaking. So I got one badge off with floss, then used some fishing line I had laying around. Worked very well. And, it wasn't hot or anything, and I didn't heat up, and it worked. But, I think from my car being 5 years old at the time is what probably helped it come off so easily.
