i think its crap that they pre-drilled the holes in the front bumper of my car for the license plate. I know its the law to wear the badge up front but it looks terrible haha. I think im gunna bondo this up and repaint it myself. Anyone else have this problem that they fixed???

when i bought my car, they forgot to put my license plate on the front. they told me to go back the next day to put it on. i did, and now i regret it. :x but then again, i think over here it's mandatory to have a plate up front. i should have bought a bracket and put it on the left side like the evo's.

When I purchased my car I told them NOT to predrill the holes for the license plate. I stated, "If they did predrill the holes I would not buy the car." Guess what. They did NOT drill the holes.

It is NOT CA law that the dealer predrills holes for your license plate. The law states that when your plates are issued the vehicle must display the rear plate. If two plates are issued then the second plate must be displayed on the front of the vehicle. The law goes on the state that the license plate must be unobstructed and verticle to the ground....blah blah blah.

I know this is long-winded, but what it boils down to is the DRIVER must insure that the issued license plates are affixed to the vehicle in a manner that is in accordance with the vehicle code when issued...not a second sooner.

Dont' believe me?... read the CVC.

Yea in Texas you have to have a plate on the front and the back if it has 4 wheels. I keep the other one in my trunk so if i get pulled over i can just throw it on there. Its been 9 months and havent been pulled over yet, i'll keep pressin my luck lol
