Hey Guys I have a question. I have a buddy that owns a Weapon intake which can be both CAI and SRI because they included the piping for either one. Now my question is this. Is it possible to fabricate something for our Injen CAI so that it can be a SRI?
Now I know some might ask, Why? Well thats quite obvious. Winter will be coming soon and I really would not want to risk having water get into the engine or anything like that. So I was thinking if this is possible and if it would not cause any CEL lights to go out, i would really like to do this.

Here is a little photoshop of my idea.

yeah only thing now is after viewing pictures there might not be enough room because of the battery, so what if I was to put it into the hole where the battery is? The hole on the right of it between the headlights and so on?
Maybe not enough air would come in and it would even be worse for the engine?

shouldnt be a problem as long as you have some clearance. you could get a smaller filter! make it happen!

Good luck closing the hood and lol that looks like a pic from my CAI install heh. :D The only way I could see this working is if you relocate the battery.

The pictures are from a guy named Prophet over at pl.com If thats you than yes these are your pictures lol.

And yeah I was thinking about the hood closing which also might be an issue. But I know I have to either do this and make it work or buy myself a SRI for wintertime.
