Hey guys whats up, im new to these forums, i rock a 99 avnger with built and boosted 420a, and a skittle :/ lol.. i really want to get into an evo 8 or 9 soon, perhaps this summer..anyways.. I do custom fiberglass and Carbon fiber overlays as a hobbyist, and i was wondering if anyone here wanted anything like that done. I know theres alot of CF out there, but i also like myself, some people crave more lol. things like interior door and dash trims, A,B and C pillars aftermarket and OEM dash kits, custom gauge pods glove boxes , etc.. heres a few pix of some of the work ive done.. Im out of Des moines, Ia. Ive been doing alot of CF work for skittles (imagine that lol) from FL and so cal, so distance is really not an issue with the work, its all a post office away lol. (sick ride Nemo.. i like the color choice..)
i usually charge around 70 bux, depending on size of course. but thats a good average. I use 2x2 twill 5.7oz 1st quality CF, as you can see, i also can do hybrid CFs. The materials i use have a UV inhibitor, as well as it being clear coated so it doesnt yellow over time. It all depends on size, and complexity of the item, more curves and contours, the longer it takes to wrap. im pretty andl i want it looking lik eit was going in my car. the A pillar tripple pod took me about an hr and a half just get the CF orineted right to agree with all the curves.
I was wondering if something was wrong with your camera for the blue ones. Lol. I was like....that's weird, then I read you meant it to be blue. I was like....o. That's pretty cool. I might have to think about this.
lol, yea i haven't seen many roll the hybrid CF before, i did this guys whole interior in blue CF, im just finishing some more part up for him and im hoping to get some install pix soon, i think its gunna look killer, defiantly different lol. jus let meko1 thanx
