Hey guys, just bought myself a 2008 lancerGTS. Upgrading from a 4thgen Prelude. Anyhow, im torn between the colors. Ive seen the evo in grey and it looks amazing, so i figured id get the gts and mod it to look like the evo, but in the meantime i think i find the grey looks very tame in the stock GTS, even with the 18 inchers and black leather upgrade i bought. Im sure youve all seen the colors available. The only one i wouldnt consider at all is the silver, all the rest are at least reasonably good. Im just trying to figure out which one will look the best. I have the option for two tone leather of whatever color i choose as well as embroidered ralliart on the seats. Someone please help me decide, a couple good pics to prove your point would also be much appreciated. Cheers
well everyone is just gona say THEIR color is the best one, because they chose it.. its really up to you, youre the one whos gona be buying it. just stick with the 4th gen . vtec is fun

i have to say i love the black and the blue but the black is so much of a hassel to keep looking good, and the blue and red everyone is going to have. I went with Graphite grey because its differant and i like to stay that way. But just because its a sertant color you can always make it differant so it depends on you my friend! Good Luck!
black normally i would be agreeing with the black, however i think you loose alot of the agressive lines in this car with both the black and grey. I think they grey looks nice with the blacked out bumper but so does the red. I think i might go with the red, whole car will set off once i start moding it, since the ralliart symbol has got red in it and its easy to find engine mods with red. And if i somehow get a hold of those evo rims it will look siiiick.
I'm still deciding on my color myself.. I'm ready to buy one I just can't decide what color.. I'm not sure whether to go Blue or Grey.. I like them both.. Only problem I saw with blue is you can see every swirl mark in the sun..
blue I far prefer blue over the grey, however resale is easier with grey if thats something you need to consider. I find the grey on this car is a little tame, blue shows the lines really well and definately gives it that rally look. If your going for a sleeker, toned down sexy sedan id go with grey. Sporty rally car, go blue. thats just MHO. Good luck with the descision. I went with red simply because blue woulda been a wait till like december, and by that time the evo will be soon arriving and i probably woulda just waited for that. I recently heard word about the ralliart being about 30 K CDN which is close to what the lancer cost me all said and done, 2.0L Turbo AWD 245 HP sounds just as good to me as the evo, with a smaller sticker. I hear they will be way cheaper in the states, like everything is. So not fair.
Damn, that sucks, i have been torn between blue, black, and gray, lost black because everyone is saying it scratches easy, and even though i drive slow, its all the way up a mountain gravel driveway, haha, now with the swirls in the blue, Sh!t, its sunny most of the time around here, so guess i will go with gray, but in reality i would probably go with whatever color they have that has the sun n sound and navi and tech packages lol, pretty much aqua and the desert sand are the ones im not diggin.
lol i havnt seen a lancer color i dont like. the aqua and the sand get hated on alot but hey girls want this car too. and i bet you they go for the blue red or the aqua. if they would have had yellow i might have even gone for that
Yeah, that is true, yellow would have been pretty sweet, i could have dealt with aqua, if it was like free, haha, but sand just makes me think grandma........... cause my GF parents gave her an ugly ass sand/gold accord. haha, she hates it, but its better than nothing, for right now.
