Hey guys, haven't been online in months here...
Basically my clutch is burnt out on my 08 DE Lancer. Does any one have an opinion for a new clutch? I'm looking for a Stage 1 or any clutch that's stronger than the original factory clutch. Lasted a full 57k miles

At least you got that much out of it...mine went at around 30k. I went with the Clutchmasters FX200 kit for mine. Higher clamp load, nice engagement, and only a slight increase in pedal stiffness. I have used and abused that thing for about 90k miles, and its just now showing signs of wear. No slipping, but it won't bark tires in 3rd and 4th anymore...

That's shitty, Mitsu. wouldn't warranty the clutch with only 30k? Or did you realize how weak it was and upgraded it?
I was looking at the SPEC clutch kit (Stage 1) and Clutchmasters FX100 (Stage 1) but I am still not to sure. Was hoping to get some opinions or maybe I missed a few brands that will fit the base model Lancer. Every time I search the web I find clutch kits for the Evo.

i always thought clutch was a wear and tear item. didnt think they would fix it anyway.

^^Yeah, the clutch and other stuff like brake pads, rotors, belts, etc are considered "wear items" and won't be covered under warranty.
