i have a 2011 sport back and it seems to clunk when i shift to 2nd. its the only gear and does not happen if i shift it slower or less rpms it seems, its hard to duplcate it everytime. I do have a twm shift with bushings but i think this noise happened before too. No grinding or poping out of gear just a clunk.
I've had it happen a couple times with my 2011 GTS. Couldn't ever figure it out because I think it might be me doing something wrong. lol
I've got the same thing in my 03. Maybe shifting too hard. I shift harder than hell all the time so Im sure that's my issue. Or it could be the synchro in the clutch being dumb. Sent from my DROID2 using Tapatalk
its it a clunk/ click in the engine bay or does it come from the shifter its self? I get it sometimes from the shifter. something to do with how the knob is on maybe lose? idk its only when I shift hard. but there are sometimes when I shift into second and it pops into second almost without me putting allot of pressure. most likely happens with a shitty shift. lol.
yeah dont we all wish we had the tranny of the 370z where it rev matches for ya and shifts for you pretty much makiing sure ur clutch never grinds or never makes abnormal noises
