Chicago/Illinois Meet SATURDAY Nov. 7th!!!!

what up guys?! any1 down for a meet b4 the summer and nice weather ends?

I know i've met some of u, and u guys r cool peeps. i'm sure we can get a decent amount of lancers 2 come out. so who's down? we can do a meet, photoshoot and cruise and maybe take some nite shots. iono. just a thought.

I know 4 a fact there's like 10+ lancers on here from the Chi area so Chi lancers represent!!! lol


----I posted this on Project Lancer about a week and a half ago and so far we have about 6 or 7 peeps down for a meet. Tthe date is lookin like Oct. 17th. I'll post the plans for the day of the meet sometime this week. ----

So here are the plans for the meet:

Premeet:
If any1 is interested and if you want to make the drive, i was thinkin maybe we can do a premeet at the mitsu dealership in orland park. it's actually closed and vacantnbut there's this huge 3D lookin mitsu sign that's there and is always lit up in the evening/night. i figured we can meet there snap a few shots by the sign and then dip off 2 the meet downtown.

Downtown (South loop area):
Meet at UIC (Taylor and Halsted)
there's a parking structure that has an awesome view of the skyline from the top level. I'm going to talk 2 the parking people and see if we can go up there and take a few snaps w/o paying. as a plus it's a parking structure so u know that always makes for a popular place to take pics.

I was also thinking of taking pics by the adler planetarium/museum campus. There's streets there that have amazing views of the skyline. plus if we want, we can take pics w/ the museums in the background or even soldier field. that area has lots of places to take pics by.

Cruise:
After the photo shoot, we take a cruise on lakeshore drive to lincoln park.

Eat:
Once in lincoln park there's lots of restaurants there and I was thinkin maybe the best place to go would be buffalo wild wings. now it's lincoln park so parking is limited so unless u can think of another restaurant that has a lot in the area, please feel free to mention it. i was just thinking of somethin that most people like.

(there are also tons of restaurants in the UIC/museum campus area if we choose not 2 go up north to lincoln park)

Final Cruise:
Optional for those that want to go more into actual downtown. Once we're done eating we can take a cruise down rush street where there's mad bars and clubs and pass through and area that's popular with tons of people and nightlife.

Afterwards, everyone leaves and departs their own way home.


What u guys think? suggestions r welcome!! none of this is set in stone just somethin i was thinkin of.

oh and we are actually changing the date of the meet due to a few of the members not being able to make it the 17th. how does the 1st weekend in November sound with every1? this should give every1 significant time 2 maybe take off or at least put it in their books to keep that Sat. the 7th free.

hey guys, we're now debating between giordanos by UIC or BWW in lincoln park. i think we might end up goin 2 giordanos just cuz it's closer to 2 the places where we're gonna snap some pics. what u guys think? is pizza cool?
