I just got the 08 GTS and i want to give it a better look without spending a lot of money because its on lease and i am not sure about buying it yet. Im thinking about getting the caliper paint. Any suggestions?
If you are leasing the car the last thing you want to do is PAINT a part of the car.... Get bolt on mods like intake and exhaust, then when you return the car just put the original stuff back on. You should read over your lease agreement and see what it says about that sort of thing as Im sure if they find out youve done things like that they wont be happy.
plus if you return the 08 and it is not how you got it, they will charge you. for instance, if you put rims and dont put back the o.g. then mitsu will charge you for o.g. rims.
I have leased plenty of cars and no need to worry. If the things you do to the raise the value of the car, Mitsu will NOT charge for it. Adding rims, sunroof, spoiler, better brakes, better sound system(that fits in stock location), window tint, so on... Just try and leave all painted items alone and stock. You can even put in aftermarket lowering spring. Just make sure they are from a high end company i.e. Eibach. Companies of this nature also build oem parts for many car manufactors. Intakes and exhaust can be ok, but make sure they are C.A.R.B. legal with tags and certificates i.e. Injen Technologies. Well the list of possibilities go on. So good luck and have fun.
