transmission grinding every gear ho sounds so familiar

mitsu changed my trans on the lancer last week, they didnt want to use the 6 speed instead of the 5 speed!

engine squeeking is normal on these cars it seems lol

Yall transmissions grind as in automatic transmissions right? Wow I'm extra glad I got a standard, lol. Man if I were you I would try to get a new car under the lemon law, with all these different problems I'm pretty sure you would qualify. You just need to call corporate mitsubishi if your stealership doesnt want to even consider it. Tell them something about considering hiring a lawyer...., that will get them at the very least to look into your car.

Well keep us up to date, I want to know what happens. I cant even take full credit for the stealership phrase, I heard it about two years ago from a friend of mine that had to order some parts from the dealership, lol. I have used it a couple of times on some forums and most people seem to think its funny.

Wow dude, I feel for you. So your car is standard? How many miles do you have on that tranny? The only kind of grinding I get so far (knock on wood) is if the car is still in motion when I try to put it in reverse, and thats even if it slowly going backwards. I have had my car for about 19 months and have about 20K miles on it.

they probably just diconnected your radio from the system. if they take something aftermarket apart they will not put it back together, though they should have told you that.
