Can't decide on wing....

    First I wanted a GTS wing, then I wanted an Evo X, then I didn't want any wing... but now I can't choose! I've been looking around for inspiration and when I google white 2008 Lancer it's all Evo's, Ralliarts, or GTS's all with wings. Then I see a wingless Lancer and think it looks weird... So which wing do you think looks best if any?

    i love the evo X wing man. one of the only ones I like period.

    Yeah it looks amazing but it might be a little too much for me. I think I have a lot of thinking to do lol.

    Man, I have just about the same prob. My bro-in-law has a full carbon Evo VIII wing that he was goint to put on his evo, but decided not to. He said I could have it for the low price of FREE..but I just don't know if I like the Evo wing on a non-evo....so I can't be much help here. Lol

    I feel you, I was offered a Evo9 wing for about 80 bucks, but I passed. I dont like them on our cars.

    I say gts wing. An evo wing is too much for a lancer. And if you go no wing, you'll need the car too look really nice with other mods, i.e. rims, dropped, tint, etc. Thats just my opinion though.

    probly a gts wing just cuz the fact that you have a ES, so no body kit. i think a evo wing would look weird on an ES.

    Definitely GTS wing :thumbup:
    Evo wing is just too big for regular Lancer.

    Yeah that's what I'm worried about. People seeing the wing and saying "Oh sweet an Evo!" then seeing the rest of my car and calling me a ricer lol. I just think both wings make the car look so much better.

    I like the Evo hood too but I don't see that anywhere in the near future. I plan on getting the HL2 lip from ARS bodykits eventually so the front bumper won't look so weird. But then I saw this..

    Lol yeah Evo's already look good enough stock they don't need really anything.

    Well i own a DE. Which was wingless i got one an now wish i hadn't. It looks really nice but the wing actually blocks a fair bit or your rear view. The EVO X fixed it by adding inserts to raise it a little higher. The only way to get the inserts is to buy the whole wing, I checked lol. RRM have some nice other MOD'in options check them out. I myself like the extended trunk lip and would have gotten it had it been out before i got back from my last gulf trip. Oh well. Best wishes and luck with your ride.

    i put the X wing on and i have no regrets, as for rear view mirror ,u only lose a bit of sight for seeaing far behind, u can still see the closer cars or whatever it is u need to see while back parking... Also dont forget u have side mirrors to use if the bigger does reduce ur rear view vision.

    Are there anymore members sporting an evo x wing on a normal lancer? I heard it looks kinda funny if you don't have any side skirts, front lip, etc. (I have a base 08 ES non sport, so I'm afraid that the wing will ruin the look of the car)

    I've know there are some GTS's with a evo wing but I don't think I've seen any ES's. I'm planning on getting a front lip and bumper so I don't think it would look strange. But I think you're right if you don't have the air dams and bumper it might look a little off.
