I read this page http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html which basically states the only headlights legal in California are white lights I was thinking.. What if instead of getting a blue bulb, i get a blue cover for my headlight.. Stock: Film Cover: I assume its illegal regardless but would i be able to get away with it most likely? is it even worth a shot? anyone done the film before? Or would i be better with a brighter white, a little bit of blueish bulb?
I know having a yellow tint on your front headlights is illegal so I would assume the same of blue. The best way to do it is just to assume that if you cant find the answer, itll probably get you a fix it ticket in the end.
Any kind of tint on your front two side windows or headlights is apparently not legal ( got tickets for it ) Anyways I found that (if you are looking to spend money) up to 6k HID are legal anything higher isn't but you can Probably get away with 8k, they have a blue tint to them. I know HID are expensive, and that our cars have the relay issue, where you cannot turn them off or you have a rave in front of your car, but they do last longer than normal headlight, so I see it as a good investment. But once again thats just me
what kinda headlights did you have conduct? i was thinking either 8k or 10k hids. hopefully i have no problems
the blue film ive seen on so many mercedes out here in the valley and the cops don't have a problem with it because its not a light and when you turn your lights on the light does not turn blue at all because of the film or any color film
