You could just get some flat black vinyl off of ebay for like 15 bucks.

Are you trying to black out the Grill or the Bumper? Grill = Paint it, Bumper = Vinyl.

    Vinyl is from ExtremeVinyls
Chrome trim is from Pep Boys/Autozone (your local autoshop)
Grill (painted in flat black to match his vinyl)

Or better yet go to a local sign shop like I did and get a piece for 12 bucks

I just ordered the vinly from extreme and still waiting for it to come in. My lancer had the front plate and when I removed the cover I noticed two good size holes on the bumper. Anyone have any ideas on how to fill them in? I'm afraid that if I just cover them with the vinly they will still be noticable.

Mike, thanks for the bumper plug link. I have also seen some Texas Lancers without the front plates. Not sure why there seems to be no standard about having front plates. I thought front plates were mandatory for most of the states now?

they are mandatory but some citys dont inforce it that much. i haven't had a front plate sence i bought the car (over a year now) the bumper was never drilled for it. but if i get a ticket for it then i will put on an evo mount.
