i wanted to black out my front grill black like an evo but i m not sure what type of vinyl is needed there are vinyls sold at kinkos woould that work?
they dont have the flat black vinyl there i triedjust get flat black paint like me me and flow did ours yesterday
like i said kinkos does not carry flat black vinyl i have already tried that but i ordered the three piece front bumper kit from extreme vinyls and then i painted my chrome grille it came out great
Vinyl is from ExtremeVinyls Chrome trim is from Pep Boys/Autozone (your local autoshop) Grill (painted in flat black to match his vinyl)
I just ordered the vinly from extreme and still waiting for it to come in. My lancer had the front plate and when I removed the cover I noticed two good size holes on the bumper. Anyone have any ideas on how to fill them in? I'm afraid that if I just cover them with the vinly they will still be noticable.
Here you go try this. His product is really good. http://www.i-kona.com/Catalog/Mitsubish ... Combo.html
You may want to contact this ebay seller (evo@prostreetgraphics.com) he was selling a three piece flat black vinyl for $46 shipped and its a pre cut kit for the 08-09 lancers...hope this helps...good luck this is the kit i bought http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=380050704040
Mike, thanks for the bumper plug link. I have also seen some Texas Lancers without the front plates. Not sure why there seems to be no standard about having front plates. I thought front plates were mandatory for most of the states now? jose
they are mandatory but some citys dont inforce it that much. i haven't had a front plate sence i bought the car (over a year now) the bumper was never drilled for it. but if i get a ticket for it then i will put on an evo mount.
