Does the auto shift handle on an 08 es not come off? I thought the ball part would just unscrew but it seems to be stuck on with no visible screws.
First, pull the silver piece down, then you will see how it is on. You will then need to pull up on it with everything you've got.
Preciate it! I was scared I was gonna break it when I tried spinning it off like my other shifter. That's def. a different way to remove it.
You can take to flat head screw drivers and stick in two opposite sides and the silver thing will pop off then take two small flat head screwdrivers and put in the bottom two holes and push really hard while someone else pulls up on it and waa-laa its off
