i hate the guys at mitsubishi service department near me they r dick heads the dealer doesnt do oil change i get all mine done for free n y does that pop up after 6000 miles makes no sense since u r supposed to get 1 every 3000
yeah it does mine came up right around there i called and he said it was nothing major they just need to reset the button when it happen to me so once you get ur oil change you'll be good.
i already got my oil changed twice 2750 and a week ago at 5750 and know im at 6132 sumthin like that and it jus popped up
get in your car,put the key in the ignition and turn it on,not turning the motor over.hold the info button for like 5 seconds and it should go away.
heres what u should do if you wanna clear it... click the menu till u get to that periodic check... press and hold the menu button till it clears up... there u go...clear... ive done twice now, but when the periodic check showed up again I just left it alone it doesnt bother me much it will just beep twice when u start up ur ride... let me know if that works
5k for full synthetic btw... u might wanna read the oil change bible =) http://www.carbibles.com/engineoil_bible.html i've read like 75% of the whole page
there's some kind of setting for the periodic service warning when I bought the car it was set to 12 000 km but I have to do the oil change every 6000km I told the dealer and they changed it to 6000 km in 2 min
yeah i do mine every 3000 basicly no matter what oil im putting in the car since i get all my oil changes for free and none of those solutions worked i gues imma have to deal with the dick head guys at the service department
where u get ur oil change at? mines like 40 for full synthetic...wish i get those free ones too...sometimes i do my own oil change...
my brother works at mavis discount tire so i take it there get full oil change they use some of the best oil on the market forget what they use, allignment, tires rotated, nitrogen air, everything is free he's service manager
I was showed by a mitsu tech and you have to keep pressing the info button until theres a screen that has a little wrench at the bottom Hold down the info button for a few seconds and the little wrench shuld start flashing. Then press the info button 2 times quickly and it show up as cleared. **You can only clear the code when the car is not running and the key is in the on position. The code will then show as being cleared. Or if you want to just avoid it all you can take it to your dealership and they do it automatically after oil changes, but i change my own oil so this is for those guys who do the same lol
