ok so today, around noon i had a accident with my lancer, road raging driver ran me off the road (and drove of site and off of sight) . result is i drove straight in a light pole. the guy was following me less than 6 inches fron the back of the car,i wanted to slow down and get on the side of the road but,with all the rock and sand beside the sidewalk, it somehow slid a bit on the sand and the a** hole following me ,pushed my car literally off the road (i have some gray paint mark on my rear bumper proving this) result is: 2 silver scratches on the rear bumper. unclipped rear bumper (pushed it back in) scrap:hood,bumper,grille,passenger side fender,bumper support,rad support,passenger side fender frame rail,radiator,a/c condensor,a/c compressor,foglight(pass side),headlight (pass side) + a light pole pictures to come monday, my car is held at the tow truck yard (to my demand so i dont get anything stolen, ie:wheels,exhaust,flag of the montreal canadien,cd's in the car, mp3 player. didnt have time to get my stock caus ei was brought to the hospital by ambulance. good news, i am in top shape beside some nervoussness muscle tension.

1 witness ,noticed a silver car, couldnt say what type of car it was only thing i saw is a silver station wagon looked like a mazda they are everywhere so i cant say for sure! ps, nobody stopped, its a hit & run
Yeah, believe it or not, I've already had some major body work done to my Lancer...last Halloween, I spun out in the highway, ended up with the imprint of a guard rail on my entire passenger side. No one was hurt luckily, and I can say that I walked away from it. It's an eye opening experience getting into a wreck. If you can walk away from it, you feel like there really is someone up there. As for the whole life flashing before you eyes...for me it was mostly the happier moments of my life.
i feel your pain man.. i bought a red lancer gts in september of last year and 4 days before thanksgiving (american) i got rear ended on the freeway by a ram 1500 (i 45 for any houston members) and he hit my so hard he pushed me into the car in front of me which was a lexus LX 470 so pretty much i got sandwiched between two huge cars... the end result was over $15,000 in damages which totalled the car (the saddest day of my life) and i almost fractured one of the vertabrae in my back because of the deouble wiplash i had not a very happy day in my life... the good news is that as soon as i got the money from the insurance company i went out and bought myself another lancer gts but this time an aqua metallic blue so that made me feel a lil better (you can never turn your back on a lancer, once a lancer owner always a lancer owner) lol... i have a bunch of pics but i dont know how to create a link to post all the pics or do i have to do that? but if someone could help me figure that out ill be able to post some real tragic pics
Holy crap bro...really sorry to hear that. You must be fine or you wouldn't be able to type this to us. As far as your car, if you have a cool body shop guy, you can get aftermarket parts for your car...given the damage isn't too bad.
ok good news, the car is not totalled only 10k in damages and i may get a RRM or bodykit.com vented hood out of this since it's cheaper than the stock part. and i am ok, only a semi stiff neck (aftershock i suppose) here are the cosmetic damages pictures:
damn so that's what 10k worth of damage to the front looks like eh? My brand new car got hit from the rear and it costs about 10k to fix. glad i didnt have to pay for it
