So i got 2 rockford fosgate speakers from MOD 09 i was wondering if i could install them with just the stock stereo i have now and not blow out my other speakers?
well...i think it shouldnt be a problem....i had a 08 lancer es with the stock stereo/speakers and i put some Pioneer 6x9 in the rear and 6 1/2 in the front....i think they were already blown out before i got them installed...they were from my 2001 Nissan Altima....so if i was you....i would ask around a stereo shop
You shouldn't have any problems. Speakers are made to be comepletely interchangeable...unless you have a Bose or Alpine factory system...in which they have individual amplifiers built on to each speaker. As long as they are the same size, and can handle the same or higher wattage...all you have to do is install.
why not just change the head unit too? it will all sound better. you can get a nice double din DVD player for a reasonable good price.
there is a dash kit you can get for it. I have a double din tv in my dash looks perfect. I dont remember who I bought it from though. There are threads on this. Well worth the switch.
No thats a Valor Navi/DVD/BT touchscreen. It was a good unit, just didn't like some of the features, so I swapped it with a Pioneer AVIC-F7010BT
