Adding paddle shifter to 08 ES

    I have an 08 Lancer ES w/ CVT but no paddle shifter like on the GTS. I was wondering if it is possible to add the paddle shifter to the ES and what parts I would need? I msg'ed my local mitsu dealership to see if this is possible. Was just wondering if you guys knew anything about it. Thanks!

    Why would you spend money on that though? Its kinda useless. If I could, I would take mine out and sell it to you.

    You will need a ECU upgrade

    I agree as fun as the paddles are i with i waited for the 5spd

    but is it possible though because i been wording the same thing myself... i dont know if you need to tweak the trans because with the gts you have that extra shift for plus and minus, but with the es and de you dont have the extra shift areas... but let me know what you find out

    although Bras_33 might not agree, i think 5 speed is faster than the CVT, :lol:

    Yeah, prob be way to much work/money

    best to just get a GTS/CVT or a 5speed
