5-Speed Shifter

    Has anyone changed the shift knob? also, does anyone think that there will be a short-throw shifter coming out for the lancer?

    Like changing a light bulb...10 minutes, if that.

    the shifter, just unscrew it and put on the new knob.

    the pedals, just 4 screws and clamps per pedal.

    ive changed shifters in other cars, i just wasnt sure if it was as straight forward in the lancer. cheers...im gotta get on that!

    you can pick up shifters and pedals from almost any auto parts store...their usually universal, but you can also order them from ebay and various auto parts places on the net.

    what size did you get? i was looking at some online but didnt wanna get a
    "universal" that doesnt fit my car lol
