2008 LANCER ES Cd player problems

    recently my cd player has been acting strange. It thinks it has a cd in there and i can hear the noise when its trying to grab a disc. rarely it will play a cd, usually when you put a cd in, it will jump into the CD mode but mine do that either.

    I took my car in the dealership today and they checked it out and thought it was really weird. i gotta go back next week, their gonna install a new head unit. hopefully its fixed, i also bought the aux cable and im going to try and see if they can install it since their putting a new head unit in anyways. i dont think they would charge me will they?


    anyways did anyone else have this problem?

    i got a gts without the navi though, and within a week my cd player buttons stopped working for some weird reason, i can go to cd mode and everything but i can only use 1 cd at a time, the 2-6 buttons and load button dont work...i gotta go to the dealer to check it out

    yeah i have it w/o the navi either. you should goto your dealership, they will handle it

    hey i saw that u said u bought a aux cable to your car.. ive been lookin for it but dunno which to buy.. can u show me a link or give me a model # for which one to buy pleaseee?? cause my system dont got the aux and its pretty fuked up.. im kinda tired of buying cd's and changin them.. thx bro

    your car doesnt have the AUX setting?

    i just activated the siruis today and wow there are so many diffrent channles

    goto www.mitsubishiparts.net

    goto search and type in the product code it should be like 30 something dollars. in you car get it installed and press the cd button for like 5 seconds or until the AUX comes up

    is that specificly made for an ipod i have a cable i bought from audio shack for 5 bucks a long ass time ago and i use it

    no its just an audio jack that hooks up to your back of your head unit
