Please have some proof like i do, dont just post numbers. Well i dynoed my car today, its a cvt, it was really hard to get resanable numbers due to CVT tranny. mine look like this.
And I can quote you on that Jake?! Kinda disappointing after the mods (axle back, pulley and intake) you put on. If it was tuned correctly there may be a difference. This is whp/wtq right?
im in for a tranny swap because i got the cvt to. i dont think it really helps any, they say its suppose to save gas.
i had no choice i needed a car that day, dealer told me it would have been a 4 week wait for a 5sp to come on a lot. i said screw it.
What were you guys expecting??!! Think about it. 152 crank hp - 20% drivetrain lost = 121.6 whp. With a muffler and intake you will see about 123-126 whp. Right where Jake is at. Get over it. Our cars are heavy and slow.
Yeah i feel you Jake. Our car was rear ended and once we had been told it was a write off we had only 48 hours to find a new car. I wanted the manual, but the miss and daughter cant and wont learn stick they are to afraid of it i guess. The Salesguy mentioned the CVT and by the soumd of it at the time it sounded cats ass always in the power zone lo lag shit it sounded better than a standard but nooooooo. it sure as hell isnt. Thanks for the proof. CVT isnt for everyone lol i love the torque lol give me manual please.
