2008+ hand brake boot

    First of all hello form Portland. I have been lurking on the boards for a little while now. I'm new to lancers, not to forums...

    I am looking to remove the factory hand brake boot...

    I was able to remove the grip by heating and pulling as directed. I tried to to heat the boot to no avail. Am I missing something? Any help would be mutch appreciated.

    why are you trying to get rid of your hand brake?

    I'm not tring to remove the entire hand brake, just the plastic that surrounds it...
