Hey everyone I have a 2009 Lancer es sport. I wanted to replace the hood with a 08 and up Evo X look alike. I don't know the difference between carbon fiber or fiber glass or metal hood. I really need some help. Do the hoods fix on the Lancer es? The color of the car is Octane Blue, do you think if I keep the hood black, will it look good or should I paint it blue also. Thanks!
Difference in materials basically lol. Carbon Fiber is light weight and looks pretty sexy imo. Not quite sure how it would look on blue but it looks great on GG ! ;D
O I bet it looks great with graphite gray. So Carbon fiber is the stuff, cool. Now can I just go online to any random place and purchase the CF hood ?

I'm not positive, but I think what you have to do is obviously open your headlights up, by baking them. Then, I forget what type of adhesive some of the people that have done it used. You'll have to wait for someone who has actually done it to let you know. I'm not positive.
