Tsup guys, I have a few questions about the auto folding side views for the 08 09 lancer. 1. Has anyone had issues with them in winter climates? Freezing up, salt buidl-up, that kinda thing. 2. Are you still able to close them manually? In the event that I go through a car wash I want to be able to close them without having to get outa the car. (I have the FASP Key feature which doesn't allow me to lock the doors with the key fob still inside the vehicle). 3. (follow-up to 2.) Will they close if I lock the doors using the lock button on the doors? 4. Scale of 1 - 10, how do you rate the DIY on this mod? Thanks a bunch, really appreciate it, Lancemitsu
You can manually close them. I never had them freeze on me. DIY is probably 6 of 10. Its not hard, just aggrevating. And yes they'll close if you use the black button on your door handle.
