Best Window Film Tint?

LLamar is one of the best/perfered out on the market. Don't trust the crap you purchase from Wal Mart or other automotive places. Its pure crap and either fades extremely fast/easy and/or scratches. Your best bet is to buy a 50' piece off ebay and if you trust your skills, 25'. But I will tell you that backglass can be a biotch.

 

It depends on the quality of the tint and brand that he uses.

 

just take your windows out of the door and tint it your self.
Its wicked easy to tint.

What's a better %, 5% or 20% tint? I just got mines 5% all around and I thought it would of been darker

 

ya 5% are pretty dark plus you might get pullover alot, just depends on states laws
for me ill go 20% or 35% all around

 

Okay....put I got the 5% and they don't look to dark like I thought...I'm going to get my money back

 

I got 15% and its pretty dark. You can take the door glass out by taking off the door panels and you'll see a screw on one side of the holding which allow you to pivot the glass to be able to slide it out.

 

i got 20% all around but it's a metallic reflective tint thats almost impossible to see in.

 

That looks nice....I wanted those on mine but the guy didn't know wtf I was talking about....what's it called?

 

lol hell if i know... when i went to go get tint i told the guy i wanted 20% all around... he brought out 2 types black and this metallic... as far as an actuall name not sure...

Keep in mind that if you get metallic, your GPS systems, cell phone signal, pretty much any electronic device that gets a signal won't work as well. Most tint shops recommend that you get a carbon tint if you have a navi or something.
