I'm looking for an exhaust that is going to be loud but without the ricer sound. Could any of you make some recommendations? I can't really stand the high pitched ricer sound. I've seen/heard some Evo's, STI's, and what nots driving around that sound really deep and loud and they sound good. I come from a C6 Corvette with B&B Bullet exhaust so this new found quietness is killin me. So any recommendations would be much appreciated.

works axle back is nice and deep. and yes finally someone else, i hate that ricer sound! haha. Magnaflow makes one for cat back which gives good performance but i believe it is not as loud as the works. and both of them dont look like that big can, i personally myself dont like that can look, specially on lancers lol

I hate that sound also. With the Evos and scoobys...its so deep because the piping is a minimum of 2.5" all the way back. I have recently made a 2.5" catback with an AlphaWerks canister....pretty deep sound. I'll try to put some clips up soon.

Well you also have to remember that Evos and Wrx/STis are turbocharged. The turbo quiets and deepens the tone quite a bit. For a na motor, you'll want a nice muffler/resonator.

there are a lot of options you can go through. there is the greddy ti-c cat bacc or axle bacc exhaust, the greddy spectrum elite, hks hi-power exhaust, tanabe axle bacc exhaust, and i believe thats it, personally i think the greddy 75mm ti-c cat bacc and axle bacc exhaust and the spectrum elite as well

I have the Tsudo and the sound is actually quite deep once it breaks in unfortunately the canister is so big that it screams rice and i will be getting rid of it eventually. But for sound wise its not ricey at all if you plan on getting an intake get an exhaust first.

I think that's a little too big. I like the look of the HKS a bit better.
