Got the HIDs in

    Got the Xenon 6000k low beam (9006) stock 35 watts from AMG with a DRL bypass...all worked fine...no splicing all plug and play. Simple.

    i got them in a group buy for $100 from Automo Glow (AMG) and the DRL bypass for $38

    i was wondering is you had any problems with the HIDs at first without the DRL BYPASS? i just got mines and i installed them myself, they start to flicker and sometimes they dont want to work...would the BYPASS work for it?

    You're DRL's are what's causing the problem. So yes, the DRL Bypass will allow your HID's to function properly.

    alright...i got this other bypass...it lets me use the HIDs as my DRL....where can i a bypass for them and how much?

    He sells DRL bypasses on here. He's sold a bunch of them. The guy that replied to you in this thread.

    Total noob here. I just bought a Black Lancer ES with Aero Package and would like to upgrade to HIDs for my LOW, Hi, and Fogs. But, it's illegal in NJ to disable the DRL. I found (nicely-priced) HID kits from DDMTuning.com. My question: besides the kit, what else do I need to buy (harness wiring? Error Override/Anti-Flicker box?) so that I don't have to override the DRL? If this has been answered in earlier posts, my bad. . .
