how or did you seal the lights in the cup holder so their not exposed to water

I didn't seal them on the top side, but I used these LEDs:

They are waterproof and have waterproof housings, and with the hot glue (or silicone if you prefer) on the bottom it should be pretty water resistant, at least to condensation or minor spills.

And I will post up some pictures of the cupholders soon, might make a short How-To, if you are just doing the cupholders it isn't that bad.

Yeah I just drilled holes in the bottom of the cupholders. I did the change tray too cause I normally keep my phone in there.

Here are some pics of just the cupholders so you can get an idea how to do it, I will be putting up a How To in a few days, whenever I feel like taking the panels back out to take pictures.

(And no I didn't spill glue, that is from where that insulation material came off, you will have to rip/cut/etc. it off before you can work with the bottoms of the cupholders)

Ah who needs sleep? Most of the work on these LEDs was done between the hours of 10PM and 4AM.

Really not sure, if you had all the LEDs and wire it probably wouldn't too bad. It took me about 2 hours and someone with more experience with wiring could probably do it quite a bit faster. Of course you'd have to find a place that would do it first. I remember most shops I called when I was looking for someone to install my Underbody Lights wouldn't do electrical or wiring stuff.

Yeah, I'll get DIY's for cupholders and footwells and probably the project in general in a bit. I am probably going to wait until after next week though since I have finals.

Ok so I want to change the trunk light bulb to a red colored bulb for a simple customization. This is the only one I could find online for just a bulb change:
    http://www.andysautosport.com/mitsubish ... 04631.html

Its the same bulb as the stock, but its a 10w instead of the 5w. Is this ok? or will it not light up as its supposed to?

and btw Im stupid when it comes to electronics so forgive me for this seemingly simple question

Did you wire straight to the battery, if not what kind of wires/ resistors, or anything did you use
