I have an 09 ES manual I running comletely stock right now. I am putting an AEM cai on soon but my problem is I dont want to spend a ton on an exhaust system. I have done all my research and found every bolt on kit there is, and firSt I don't want to run a fart can like a lot of people do. I am thinking about a magna flow custom build that can probly be done for around 220 way better than rrm's magna flow axle hack at $370 and would be better than a tsudo but I don't know how a magna flow would sound on the lancer platform I have watched all the youtubes and you can't judge off of them cause the audio is always garbage. If anyone has any sugestions or ideas that could help me I'm all ears or if anyone has any performance parts they are looking to get rid of shoot me a line.

I have custom Magnaflow axle back. Muffler 14859 + some pipe, no more than 160-170 USD. I like it, don't know if you gonna like it. Can't upload videos right now. Maybe after 10 days.

RRm's axleback is known to rust. If you live in an area that gets snow, therefore salt + water, I would look into something else.

Personally speaking, if you are tight on money, just save until you have it. No reason to squeeze out that last little bit of $$$ for a cheap exhaust when you can save for a bit and do it nicely and not have to worry about $$$.

dont get the one with the fart can , looks ugly on the lancers, when u look at a car from the side u should not see the muffler underneath the car

Then go with a reputable company and don't worry about the money. Magnaflow cat-back (not rrm's axle back with magnaflow muffler) and the greddy se are my two favs.

Thanks guys after some careful research I think I am going to go with a custom install a magnaflow street series ss muffler model #14832 it is $104 on amazon and can get it installed for about $100 and it will be everything I'm looking for it has the style I'm looking for the price and should perform equal to the bigger price products without the heavy wallet hit my only concern now is how it will sound.
