I am buying a CAI tomorrow, and i wanted to know if i needed to reset anything when i put it on..

A friend of mine had to reset someone by unplugging his battery when he put an intake on his car(non lancer) so i was just wondering if i had to do something like that also.. Any advice would be helpful

I don't believe so. Usually, you just let the car run for a little while so the mass air flow sensor can reset itself that way, and adjust what it needs to adjust however it does it.

no need to reset anything but its always a good idea to disconnect ur battery when working under the hood

It is best to reset the ECU by disconnecting the negative terminal. Then let it idle for 10 mins. Take for a 10 minute normal test drive.
