Painted Front grill, engine and wheels. What ya think?

    Did you paint your rims a different color or are those just reallllllllllly clean?

    Yeah I'll say! I didn't even know our rims were that shiny lol.

    haha i use f22 wheel cleaner. spray on and hoe off easy as pie and they come super clean every week!

    looks good, is that a matte black you painted your outside lining for the grille or is ut just stock?

    i used plasti dip i had the chrome one originally

    What type of paint did you use on the rims. Also did you have to prep them before applying the paint?

    Looks very good. I think you should paint the rims that same black, and keep the mitsy symbol red. That way it goes along with it, but I bet it would look sick like that.

    I used dupont car paint available at autozone locally. It was 8$ i think. I cleaned, taped, sanded 100 grit, sanded 400 grit, as far as prp work goes. I used 2 coats of the primer(4$), followed buy 3 coats of Red. I left an hour between coats. Let sit overnight and threw em on. Been through the carwash bout 20 times... no fading or chipping :)

    I was going to black out the wheels as sugested but i have decided to but a new set of wheels and tires, for the summer months. I will use these as is for the winter months. I live in mass so the winters get rough and the wheels can take a beating. but hey at least the will be good looking winter wheels!

    Looks pretty hot. I think I might wanna do the same thing... just gotta think of a good colour to work with.

    black is a good colour to work with, im gonna to tro spray my front emblem with plasti dip and see how it turns out
