Hey everybody. I was forum browsing on here a while back, and I think I read somewhere that it is bad to use Champion or AC Delco spark plugs on our cars. 2003 Lancer ES. And that it's better to use other brands like NGK or Autolite? Is this true, or if I do use Champion sparks, will it do anything different, or harm the car or something like that? Thanks for any info ya'll can give me.
I think I remember that thread...I'm not sure about the ES, but my R/A has to have the plugs with the long thread shank. I put a set of regular NGK's in it, and it lost a good pit of power. I couldn't find anywhere to buy the long shank plugs, so I had to buy them from the dealer. As for the Champion plugs, I really don't know...never used them in anything I have owned. I have used Autolite plugs...but only in my truck....
I have always used NGK... So I am not sure about any other plugs! This weekend I was looking around for other plugs but I have not found any that I would put into my car.
ive read that Pulstar plugs are really good, u might wanna checkout their website @ http://www.pulstar.com and just to quote them at the bottom of their page says ''* If you are not 100% satisfied within 30 days of purchase, return for a full refund.'' their sounds a bit high, but if their as good as they claim to be well i think $20 a plug isint that bad
NGK's are the recommended plugs for our Lancers. Never had a problem with them. I use Iridium IX's since I'm boosted and I must say the do perform.
