does anyone know how to change the tail lights on our 08 lancers? bought new lights, but cant seem to get it
no. I think there is a how to floating around here somewhere. But you need to pull back the carpeting inside the trunk behind the taillights and remove the necessary bolts and clips. Check Projectlancer.net...they have a how to section on taillight removal
no trunk removal is needed!!! all you have to do is go into your trunk.. undo the black plastic clips that are holding the carpeting down... Please dont brake them be careful then when you remove those clips do the same for the trunk lid... now when you pull pack the carpeting i dont remember because i was a while since i did this. there is gonna be either a 10mm bolts or screws holding the lights... all this is done from inside of the car... its simple. take your time if you are doing this first time.
the head lights you have to take off the front bumper. all you do for the rear is for the coner lights unscrew the screws you see as soon as you pop the trunk take a flat head on the black clips and just take them off then pull off the capet and the bolts are ten millimeter and just wigel and pull them out
