Hi all. Just realized my stock dunlops are running bare (29,455 miles!!) so need to get new tires. Wanted to purchase the Eagle F1 A/S-C. I know the size is 215/45/18 so it should fit the stock rims (I think...). However, it says 215/45ZR18 whereas the stock ones don't have that Z (just 215/45R18). I just want to be sure these Eagles will still work (the Z doesn't make a difference?) before i spend $400 buying them. Tires: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...ed_rating=Y&speed_rating=(Y)&minSpeedRating=H Thanks!!
Hey man go check with your dealer there is an open problem with those tires and they should be giving you new ones...
you should look for 225/40/18 prices that's the size I bought there is more choice in this size and you can get them for less probably since 215/45/18 are more rare I think
And living in NJ, I would go a different route than the Eagle 1s. They are considered "summer" tires. You need a nice set of ASPs (All Season Performance). I recommend Kuhmo Ectsa ASX 215/45/18. They are one of the highest rated ASPs out there.
