Im just wondering if there are any aftermarket exhausts that isn't loud, but adds a good amount of hp to your car. I found HKS Hi Power Silent which sounds really great and adds a good amt of hp, but the price is just too expensive. Any recommendations? And I heard my friend talking about a chambered exhaust, will this be also not that loud?
Any performance exhaust is going to make the exhaust note louder. I don't know about the 8gens, but RRM's for the 7gen lancers has the least increase in sound but makes good HP.
Ya I know those are louder than the stock, but Im finding one that doesn't give a loud note (only alil bit louder than the stock). Im not from US so I cant order from RRM so are there any other good exhausts that are silent?
Ive heard from several people that Greddy catbacks arent real loud. low and deep... just how I like it. mmmhmmm

don't get an axleback. they barely do anything for you performance wise. just gives you the sound you want...... but....

Regardless guys and gals any aftermarket exhaust will cost a fair bit. Due still to the newness (new word lol) and the current recession. I myself got an actual exo x muffler for 50 bucks from the dealership Dude had his EVO 24 hours before causing 18000 dollars worth of damage.). I wont go into details lol but to have it hug will cost like 300 bucks lol.
