Lol no problem. I kinda did that and ended up messing up my clips an having to buy 2 new ones :S
Not hard at all once you look at it and figure it out.

I did 3 pretty thick coats on mine waiting about 10 minutes between coats and then after the 3rd I waited 30 minutes and put on a 4th lighter finishing coat. I'm stoked with how it came out. Makes the front look so much better lol.

This stuff realy looks amazing !!!!

I am still debating if i should do it or not !
Anyone with a picture of a Graphite gray Lancer with the Blacked out front ?

I find that on a silver, white and blue Lancer, it looks amazing... but have not seen any Graphite gray pictures or lancers with the black front...

  12. how do you remove the bottom lower grill on the gts? i got the top one with the chrome off but what about the buttom? and is painters tape and newspaper good enough to mask off the front or not?

From what I've seen you don't need to take off the lower grille and painters tape and newspaper works well. Check out Bossus07. I think he has a picture of his masked off somewhere.

When you guys spray... do you do long horizontal sprays... or vertical sprays across the bumper for each coat?

I don't think it matters really.. but I'd go for horizontal.

I was scanning the pages and didnt see anything so Ill ask. That front nose piece under the mitsu badge did you guys just mask it off and paint that or is there a way to take it off? I was looking at mine and it looks part of the bumper, but wasnt sure so i thought i would ask.

So I just finished doing mine and it came out looking great but as I was peeling off the masking tape from around it , the tape/paper pulled some of the plastidip off so I unpeeled it all and I'm gonna start over next weekend. :( Although it was unfortunate it gave me a huge reassurance that this stuff is legit. Its really tough but just like they said with some effort it will peel right off. Would definitely recommend this to any who are thinking about blacking out the front bumper. Any suggestions for getting a clean peel off of the masking tape/paper?

So, I have an 03, and seeing all the things that you new gen guys have been putting this plasti-dip stuff on, it's giving me ideas. There's a lot of things I don't like in my car that I could definitely see as flat black. Do you guys think it would hold up on the inside door handle? Only reason I'm asking is because it would be in constant use, ya know? That's really the only thing I see a problem with.
