I triied posting this on a Canadian site and not one person replied so I will give this a shot lol.

Can anyone here give a newb to body kits a few pointers on installing these things. I got a vision walker full kit and the finish and fit is terrible!! like really bad lol. I installe the back and front last night and had to do mass amounts of trimming to make it fit right around the head lights and the rear quater panels. The right side tail light does not line up with the bumper lines. Parts are cracked, lol. Its terrible. I am not body man, not by a long shot but it just won't do as is haha.

I'll probably have 15 - 20 hours install and prep time before the car is even painted!!!

Also, I got the CF hood and it kick butt, deadly fit, great finish!! Where are you guys installing your hood pins at? I figured the outer most edges up front. Anyone have pictures of this?

    Thanks, Chris

i never put hood pins on the car and i got the car up to about 140-145 appx. and had no problems. i think hood pins look ugly.

I dont have that kit so i cant help you. i have the kaminari kit perfect fit.

were did you get the kit from if their are cracks they are easy to patch with a fiber glass kit but if you really unsure of what you are doing and their are that many promblems you might be better of going to a proffessional for help. also the hood pins if you want to put some on install them on the front radiator support in a existing hole drilling the hole in the hood is the part that worries me ever time

    I know how you feel.

We had to fiber glass 50% of the kit because of cracks, fiber glass both side of the tail light areas add to the headlight area. :x the rear bumper would not fit over the bumper brace so we had to take that off.

It was a pain to do but worth it, I suggest you get some one with expertise on this things.

This kit was acculade kit, hope that's not what u have.

Yeah my foam was removed by the PO when he ditched it and tore the hole stock kit off lol. I have a body man that is doing all the paint for me but I wanted to do some of the prep myself. When I did the initial fit it was terrible, some spots I had to remove like 3/4" to make things fit properly. The areas of concern were around the headlights, the inside edges of the headlight were interfering very badly. Also along the quater panel mating surfaces on the rear bumper, I had to do some significant trimming there aswell. I bought everything from Andy's online due to me not being a member on any tuner forums yet and didn't know. The worst buying experience I have had to date and I do alot of custom work on my trucks and quads.

I agree with the hood pins to a certain extent, kinda rough looking. I am having a few problems with the alignment to the fenders and I figure the hood pins will look after that lol. All in all the hood is beautiful, body kit not so much, yet!!! lol. I am going to have to take some pictures tonight if I can to show the problem areas!! Maybe at lunch if I get home in time.

I am at the point where I am ready to remove the kit and do a final sand and fill in the little pock marks before it gets painted. I was planning on painting the car sides with the skirts in place and the bumper covers seperatly.

I still need to install the tein springs and new rims and tires, almost done lol. It's been awhile and I am sorta impatient now haha

I hate to bash sellers but really!!! I told them the deal from day one, I needed this stuff ASAP ship it out now express it, whatever. 2 weeks later I find out the fenders are on back order and they were waiting on them to ship the rest of it. Then they shipped the hood pins seperate costing me $40 canadian for duties and taxes, seriously!! for $35us hood pins sh!t!! Then I had to get my body guy to repair and paint the fenders after cancelling the finberglass ones. Ohh!! and the damn hood pins were the wrong ones, and guess what?? the right ones are on a 2 month back order lol. Then the kit is in rough shape to boot. Whatever, it's almost over with and the car should be painted this weekend or early next week.
