All stock WW GTS, guessing its a 5-speed, autos are usually less. BTW its whp & wtq. This guy mentioned he took of the intake tube and left the airbox and saw a 2hp gain.

    omg im gonna cry

jesus, my car is more gutless everytime i see a dyno is showing how inflated some hp claims are. proally similar to their bullshit claim that my car gets 41mpg on the hwy. dream on, its impossible unless you go down a 30degree slope highway in neutral maybe. goddamn i hate liars!

looks like 136.51WHP to me  and 140lb/ft or torque. I wonder what gear pull that was....and what kind of dyno??

Yup, I have to raise the BS flag on this one. Look at my dynos done on a dynojet in 4th gear. I have exhaust, RRM piggy, and lightweight pulley, and saw nowhere near that. Im @ 123 whp and 124 wtq.

Compare all the other dynos, everone is in the same range. NOONE is in the 130s.

Yeah its disapointing but hell we sure do have a nice looking car anyway. I am just looking at the positive nd not the negative. She has more HP than the 2006 modle. Hell if im right the 2006 Ralliart has 160 i think so thats not bad. I just wish the companies would list the Wheel horse power instead of the engines. But fuck it i own her now lol.

Its not science people. Yes our cars may produce 152 hp, but thats at the crank. If you subtract the 20% lost to drivetrain you will see the realistic stock #s.

    152 x .2 = 30.4

    152 - 30.4 = 121.6 hp

    ^agree, it is that simple.

Serious, just because a car has mods doesnt mean it is better. If a car has bad parts on it, it can run worse....

Im not saying that is the case with your car, but try not to be so close minded about things here. Every car is different and whether or not you like it, there might be someone whos Lancer is faster stock. For all we know the thing has mods of its own, or has been tuned stock to get some more HP out of it. You never know. Its like whats been said before, you cant compare anything except the same car before and after. There is no reason to call BS on this post.

^according to the guys readout, he replied "all stock."

Also keep this in mind, tuning plays a big part in this also. I have seen loses of tq & hp when aftermarket parts are not properly tuned. Just bcuz you slap on this part and that part doesnt automatically give you gain in hp or tq.

I can guarantee that I didn't lose anything with the RRM piggy and RRM pulley installed.

And I still raise a BS flag on this. The only way he has hit in the 130s is with a freak car. Ever 08 that has dynoed (many with mods) is hitting in the mid 120s. And now you want to try and convince me that a ALL STOCK 08 is hitting in the 130s?? Thats only 14% drivetrain lost. Sorry, not going to happen.

So until I see some more/better evidence the flag will remain raised.

I am not trying to convince you or anyone that the stock 08 is pulling 130hp. It was just a simple diagram that I found to pass on the information.

If you guarantee that you have no loss with the piggy and pullley, show numbers. Its that simple. It would be nice to see numbers and see what you and everyone with aftermarket products are pulling. The pulley, I can see gains, the piggy is my bs flag.

Serious has posted a dyno sheet on EvoM. He was around 126hp I believe but I may be off by 1 or 2.

I just love how suddenly the people who blow their money on parts that havent been proven beyond "I FEEL IT" are suddenly calling for serious evidence of proven hp.

Correct, I have posted dyno sheets on EvoM. If you noticed, my tq was above those that dynoed without the piggy. RRM claims better MPG and 5% more tq across the powerband. My dyno proves this to be true when you compare it to non-piggy users.

I didn't blow my money with the piggy either. I was the first tester of it for RRM. I got a HUGE discount and in what I have saved in gas, it has already paid for itself.

I just find it funny that every member that has posted dynos, whether it be manual/cvt modded/stock, is in the 120s. And now this guy is claiming to be in the 130s stock???? Something is wrong. The math/science doesn't add up. Maybe the dynos calibration was off.
