Hello everyone!! Just a little question... I did some racing on a track for about 2 hours in the same day and after the day, i notice that my Greddy-T-Ci exhaust change of color...it's all blue now!!! Dos anyone had that little problem?? I guess it was so hot that the metal chnge of color... Thanks! Lancer GTS 2009
Ya...the tip...but all the tip!! Completely blue...lol But it was better looking before... Does it always do that when it becomes to hot??
Can u post a pic please. I have the SE and am intersted to see if this is normal with Greddy's. I haven't seen them do that.
It is normal The problem is not with Greddy, but with titanium as a metal. The titanium starts to oxidate. Racing accelerates that process. The copper turns green, the silver turns black, all of these is product of oxidation.
Oh man that is brutal. I better make sure to take off the SE if I ever feel like taking the car to the track.
This has not happened to anyone. Im pretty sure I was the 1st or 2ed person to get this exhaust and have went to the track several times, and have done other stuff, and this has not happened to me.
Ya...maybe...but i did 8 run of 20 minutes each with 20 minutes of pause between...that s the result...blue exhaust, pad brake finish (and they were new) and tire finish (and the were new too) but it was &?%$ fun!! Hihihi!!
