eclipse vs lancer who do you think would win... with some mods on the lancer what kinda chance do we have against the 2.4 and the v6??? what would we need to beat and such
yea i know sotck for stock the new ones are faster...but with the cai,cat-back,pully, and timing control box you think i could take one
My roommate has an 06 Eclipse GT, and it is quite fast; he has a CAI, header-back exhaust, and coilovers, and I have seen him destroy a 350Z. I am pretty sure nothing short of Turbo will let a Lancer keep up with the v6 eclipse, although I think just turbo would put us a bit ahead of the stock v6 eclipses. The four cylinders are closer to us and I think some minor NA mods are all a Lancer would need.
do you have the 09 gts for the 2.4L engine? or the smaller 2.0L? If you have the 2.0L, I'm quite surprised... The 3.7L V6 in the new eclipse would kill us no problem.
it was the 2.4l eclipse stock against my 2.0l with cai,cat-back,pully, and timing control box, not the v6
So I just raced a 2.4L Eclipse today, I lost but it was pretty close. The eclipse got about a 1/2 car length on me from 45 to 80. I don't know if it had any mods but I think it was stock; all I have performance wise is a Fujita SRI. So overall I didn't think I did too badly.
ive taken every 4 cylinder eclipse ive raced and one time i took a 6 cylinder by about half a car but what timing control box do u have?
lol by "how much" i meant in car length... its RRMs time control module they have for the 9G lancer...dont know if it works for the old model lancer...you could just contact them and check it out, i think i read somewhere here it is possible, but then again im not sure so dont get ur hopes up...
oh my bad lol yea it was by like 2-2 1/2 car lengths and just started pulling away from there and yea it was the timing ctonrol box.
