hey guys i just go a lancer es and i want to put my rims on it. the rims are 18x8 i know they fit but my old bolt pattern was 5x100 an dthey lancer is 5x114.3 so they are close i know were to get wheel adapters from i hae used them before. but the question for you guys with 18's the adapter is 1" min. with the extra 1" will they stick out past the fender? i don't think it will look good if they due. so does any one know where i can get some aftermarket fender flares or due the gts/evo fenders stick out the fenders? the rims i have are hot and i really don't want to get rid of them cause i won't get any where i paid for them.

Someone corrrect me if I'm wrong, using what I know about the 8gen lancer...you can't use spacers. Pretty sure that they would stick out too far...and cause rubbing issues with the quarter-panels. I'm a 7gen man, so I may be wrong on this

You 'can' use spacers, but really you should just be buying wheels that fit properly.

^ agreed, there is way to much that can go wrong with spacers and stuff.

if you work on your car then you run a risk of something going wrong. alot of people run spacers even dragsters. plus i didn't buy the wrong rims for my car i had them before i bought the lancer. but one of the original questions was are the lancer gts or evo fenders wider than the es?

The only Lancer with wider fenders is the EVO. All other Lancers have the same exact body, even the Ralliart.

the stock set up lines up pretty flush with the fenders. so.. you'll be sticking out about 1"
