My not so good Friday/Saturday morning!

    So I hit a Power pole Saturday morning around 2:17 a.m.
    I am fine, my shoulder is alittle sore, but all and all I am pretty well. My buddy who was in the car is worse off then me, but he should be fine by the end of the month.

    The blue lancer in the pic is my buddy who was in the wreck.
    I picked up one of the headlights past the drive way of the house...lol It was quite a hit.

    And here's the damage!

    The tow truck driver said the engine was knocked off the frame, it only being held on by a couple of bolts.

    But other then that our car is one fucking safe ride, every airbag opened and I was impressed with how well it took the crash.
    Guess now this gives me an excuse to buy a Railliart!

    wow.. glad your ok.
    and im also glad that our cars can take a hit like that and protect us.
    around how fast were u going?

    and please tell me this didnt happened street racing.

    damn, thats gunna cost a pretty penny to fix that pole, glad everyone is alright

    I think I was going around 65 (maybe faster), I wasn't street racing, I will tell you that....lol

    And it shouldn't cost me shit, that's what insurance is for.

    I'm just wondering how much they are going to give me for my car!

    ouch that looks painful, glad you are okay, and hope your friend gets well soon. Hope you're insurance covers for a good amount.

    yea damage is bad glad you only got a hurt shoulder thats probabley from the seat belt

    Glad you are ok. Good luck to your friend and his recovery!

    That is why the car demands us to wear our seatbelts!! Safety = #1 priority

    Glad you finally figured out how to post the pictures. That's crazy!!

    Nice to know our cars can take hits like that really good.

    I see your mirror on the ground in the first pic hehe.

    Did your knee airbag go off too? hehe

    Damn man im glad youre ok. That looks rough you really did break the pole in half. So whats up now any chance of getting your ride fixed or has the insurance totaled it?

    Every airbag in the car went off!

    As far as the insurance totaling it out...

    I seriously doubt it is fixable. I'm just hoping I get a good chunk of money for the damn thing.

    My crash was caused by black ice... how'd THIS happen?!

    That right there is a testimony of how safe the lancer is. Especially going 65 mph

    glad your ok...ive had pretty close call myself but not like this though...exactly why were u driving at 65mph and what is the posted speed limt in that area...

    did u catch air!?!?! that crack is a lil (alot) higher than our bumper.. but im glad ur ok

    and ya ur insurance will cover ur car but ur wallets gonna cover the cost for the elctrical company for their pole and wires haha! :D

    but again glad ur ok.. and the car is totalled!! i was in a wreck with my first lancer and it wasent as bad as that and it was totalled.... sorry :(
