i was trying to go in sec clutch all the way down and only was 2500 revs and it wouldnt let me it just grinded any one else have this problem or what
i have a problem were some times i put the clutch all the way in if i miss my original shift then it will grind, idk i just take mine outa gear let the rpm settle, then just rev it back to the appropriate rpm and it lets me put in gear =p
synchros guys...i've went through two 2nd gear, one 3rd gear, and two 4th gear synchros when i was boosted. not to mention a bent shift fork....not fun or cheap to fix.
yea idk why it messing up just it werid it dose it every once in a blue moon i dont race it around or anything bec my damn insurnce is doing a program with a gps in my car see how i drive for a year and it will drop by half if it good
Mitsu has been bad about synchros for as long as I can remember. Actually last year my 95 Eclipses 5th gear was victim.
YES!!!! ive been searching for someone that has the same problem Jesus fucking Christ it happens to me alot especially when i launch ... it actually happend to me leaving the dealership and just blew it off thinking it was driver error
ive actually been told from my old service mabager that its a syncro since it only happens in second and no other gear .. im still under warrenty but i have drop springs so i cant take it in ... but yes ill have the clutch all the way down and it grinds so i let off and try againand it happens normally about 2 or 3 times so i learned to let the RPMs to drop down and then shift at like 1500
