Would there be any gains with the airfliter i mean it does look so much better than the stock one. Would you feel a diff when you step on the gas?
There should be some gains with the works filter. The stock filters just dont allow as much airflow as these other filters. Now I dont think the gains will be anywhere near enough for you to say you can feel it when you step on the gas. And the ridges on the stock intake piping going from the intake box to the TB dont exactly allow for the best possible flow either.
you're probably looking at 1-2 hp at most. you may save on gas. i'm sure it works the same as a K&N filter. i was actually thinking about getting their performance package that includes the axle-back and the air filter for $359. is that a Works axle-back on your car? what suspension are you using?
1st, Texas A&M sucks!!! Gig this!!! 2nd, the works filter will show a slight gain in hp, but nothing to really brag about. You should feel better throttle response and see better gas mileage.
