    Hey all,

Does anyone with an AEM CAI Intake for the 09 Lancer Gts know if installation is relatively easy? I'm definitely no mechanic and I don't wanna mess anything up. Also, will I have to remove the front bumper? Thanks in advance for any advice.

You don't have to remove the front bumper but you would have to extend the MAF because it's located near the filter, unlike Injen's which is closer to the throttle body.

It'll be easier to remove it because your gonna have to fit the whole filter and pipe down near the fog light.

and the aem intake doesnt include anything for that? btw, I have a manual 09 2.4L GTS, so I won't need any re-locating bracket or anything of the sort.

No you just extend the wires. Pretty sure the kit doesn't come with that. No re-locating brackets or anything of the sort as long as you're manual, the CVT's need something off the Injen kit, but you're set.

no you dont have to remove the front bumper unless you want to do more work

    lift the car,
    remove front driver side tire
undo clips & pull back fender liner

instrutions should've come with your aem cai?
