damn...that sucks..new one dosent look bad...all though i dont like much the idea of that short pipe...why not just make it straight down...dont know, IMO its just another extra seal we dont need and therefore more possibilities for another leak...but if the first one is bad then oh well...i still prefer RRMs over that new header from singapore, looks way better...

The short pipe? hehehe... I guess you didn't know that FED OEM header has a short pipe to? The RRM header and our OEM header have the same format - made of 2 pieces. Except the RRM tubings are bigger.

No email, if you want action make a phone call and talk to them. Emails get lost in the shuffle.

-Yap same thing happened to me - it swelled up -- the wire mesh inside the flex pipe almost blocked off the entire hole. I sent them picture of this problem. Probably this is a just random production problem, but i'm glad they looked after me right away - in the beginning I was just going to dump rrm due to this problem, but thinking about how they stood by their product -that's what I like. Definitely going to buy some more from them.

yeah the tone of the exhaust changed and the HP/TQ wasn't the same. i dropped the exhaust and looked at the hi flow CAT and nothing so i looked at the header and low and behold that was my problem

Tell tale of RRM header problem - 1st) the fumes smell in the car was getting stronger and stronger -whenever i turn on my heater(coz this started almost winter and it was getting really really cold) i had to shut the external air switch off -- so i end up recirculating interior air -- 2nd) then I noticed once day I was about to warm up the car and this fart can sound is coming from underneath -- I thought it was something loose -- then on acceleration same thing - fart can sound -- i can no longer bare it coz its embarrassing - I braved the cold inside my garage and took it off -- Good thing i did. The flex pipe hole was almost all covered up -- that is why probably the fumes inside the car is so strong on just idle coz its getting backed up the exhaust gas pressure built up and has to find a way to escape somewhere that is why I had fumes problem in the first place. So the flex pipe blockage caused fumes to leak through the header gasket itself and probably punch micro holes on the flexys itself.

i called RRM today and they were pretty cool they told me it will be sent wed. and while i was on the phone with them i ask about the new mod coming out. matt told be in his opinion this is bad ass. will see about 9+ hp and for us 2008 pzev it will give us our losed hp + some. comboed with the piggyback we can maybe see close to 14 hp. i think that fucking cool.

I told you all it takes is a phone call. Rob runs a tight ship over there with Brian leading the way. They all go out of thier way for customer service and answer questions. Every customers situation is different and it helps them to be able to ask the customer questions. You can't efficiently do that through email.
