what the hell that sounds like shit? Chetman7 whats wrong wit urs? I could prolly diag it but Id hafta be at the car

 

mine sounds like that with the hood open...its sounded like that since I've bought the car...its not that loud of course..the camera picks up a lot of noise

 

That sounded like a lifter knockin but like I said cant tell w/o bein with the car, but ur right bout the camera

 

yep, mine has sounded like that since day one also. It's the injectors.

 

mine doesn't sound like that... well i havent had my hood up with the engin on tho i'll get back to you on that...

 

all of the msound like that... when your hood is down you cant barely tell, but its there.. specially when its cold, holy crap

 

gotta love a well made car.....ugh. I dunno about u guys/ladies my car feel like its falling apart.

I'm only 21 so this car is pretty nice for someone my age. BUt after I get my career off the ground...I'm staying clear of mitsubishi forever...I'm going with a maserati

 

Ive seen a few new ones but never heard en that loud! My 02 does that but I know its a lifter but not that loud just when its cold, it aint pumpin up quick enough

 

Mines sounded like that from day one *shrugs*

 

completely normal sound, at least on our cars.

I hate how the engine sounds, especially when it's cold and you have an exhaust!

 

Yep mines the same way. Noisy and when it's cold ... even noisier. Which is kinda weird because both my '95 4g63's made next to no noise (unless the hood was up and you got pretty close to the engine).

 

werd. It's scares the shit outta me in the cold.
