get a piggyback and try to modify your settings or install ur stock stuff? But from what i heard shouldnt SRI increase lower end power?

the piggy from rrm will only help rrm products but they can re-flash it for you.

    Hmmm.

Are you sure its not perception?

What I mean is.. after I installed my SRI and custom exhaust, I to thought that it seemed like I was losing some power. But, after switching back to stock I realized that I had to hit the gas just as hard uphill, it was only that the engine just didnt sound as loud being stock.

With SRI and exhaust on the other hand, the engine projects , soundwise, just how hard it has to work to get uphill in our cars... afterall, lets face it, we have a under-powered engine for the weight of our car and nothing short of some major mods or a turbo will change that.

hmm........i guess the engine is little bit under power but i can feel that after change the SRI and muffler helps a little bit when Hitting higher RPM

i sort of felt this when i was going from tucson to san diego.. going up hill my car would hit top speed of 50mpg.. and that was me hitting the pedal all the way down.. but then i dont know if it was the sri or if it was something else.. but comming back it didn't become sluggish...

If your feeling some gain in the higher RPMs, but seem like your losing in the lower-end.. then that would indicate a backpressure problem... lack-of, that is.

I highly doubt that its the SRI... SRI's are designed for low-end power.

I wonder if its the Greddy exhaust... when I had my custom done, I stuck with the stock pipe size. If that greddy has a larger size pipe, coupled with the straight thru muffler design, it may not have enough backpressure to give you that low-end punch your looking for.

over-all, your prob making the same gains, but in the higher-end as apposed to the lower.

thats what i thought about sri...it should give you the power in the lower end and that is good for up hill...I experience that first hand when I went to lake tahoe when I replace the stock intake and I can feel the lost of power on the uphill even with downshift...and when I went back there with the sri on it, i felt the low end power that i needed on the uphill...

people bash me all the time cause i hate SRI... but i have the best example in the world to prove that SRI's suck balls...

pedro [LancerGTS] and i ran both of our cars about a month ago. he had back then the rrm pulley and the sri.. my car was bone stock... the first run from a dig, he had me by a fender, second run he had me by 1/4 of a fender, 3rd run i had him by a full fender, and last run, from a 40 roll, i had him by half a car... before you all start blaming the driver, they are both CVTs :) basically honk and floor it....

cai or stock or gtfo lol

IMO any intake and I mean Injen and AEM or any other name brand is worthless if you are looking to gain HP. You won't see any real gain unless you dyno before you install one and after and even then you might be suprised at how much you gain. If you are lucky 5hp...

Buy an intake to make it sound nice and look cool. You want horsepower get a turbo...

It's not about just hp n tq, overall performance for example better throttle respond, engine being able 2 breath etc.. Like prophet said if u looking for big gains got go with a turbo. Stock is the ideal way 2 go that's why mitsu made it that way but at the same time limits the 4b12 or 11 due 2 noise n fuel so don't expect 2 move at mach speeds with a simple intake. U also have to find the right setup as far as what bolt on's work with what bolt-on's that's why we tune

my only advice is to get rid of the Fujita as fast as possible... it will only give you more problems in the future!... I learned the hard way :(
