Question for the Texans

    Does anyone know of any good auto performance shops in the Austin, Round Rock, San Antonio Area. Basically the most professional place where I can get some work done. I want to make sure that my car is in good hands. Thanks

    Oh yeah any car audio places also. I used to take my Truck to a place called Tweeter in North Carolina and they were good but I dont know if they are in Texas.

    I have seen Tweeters in Houston, so they are in Texas. I am not sure about the Austin/San Antonio area though.

    Yeah I dont mind driving back to Houston, there is just no straight shot from Killeen, so I have to take alot of back roads and it just takes forever.

    I'd pull up tweeters website and see if something is available in Austin.

    As for trips to Houston, if you head east out of town, then take 35 South, then cross over through Austin to HWY 290, you got pretty much freeway speeds constant with about the same distance as taking back roads, just higher speeds (at least posted speeds :twisted: ) and you get Austin as a 1/3 trip stop for food/gas and the like if need be.

    I'vve been in San Antonio about three months and can't find any "real" tuner shops yet. Car audio ahops are all over the place; Walzem Rd, Perrin Beitel and others. Just Google and they will showup.
